Samson?s Carbon 49 might call itself just a regular USB MIDI Controller, but it?s not giving itself enough credit. This instrument has a special integrated iPad slot, making it the ultimate compact instrument for budding mobile musicians. The keyboard itself is semi-weighted and comparable in feel to that of pro-level instruments. It sports 49 velocity-sensitive keys, along with dedicated Transpose and Octave buttons, as well as classic Pitch Bend and Modulation wheels.
